学历背景
必须完成有Health and Care Professions Council所认证的英国硕士学位. Full-time的硕士学位平均需要两年的时间完成. 若要攻读艺术治疗硕士,大学必须要有艺术或创作治疗等学历背景. 或者相关学历例如心理系,护理或社工也可以申请.
志工和相关经验
需曾从事社区艺术活动或青年工作等志工活动又或是曾帮助过残疾人士或心理健康治疗等经验. 英国相关的志工服务资讯可以透过local NHS trust或者Do it平台去寻找相关机会.
机构认证
在开始进入相关产业时必须先在Health and Care Professions Council注册,另外也可以加入British Association of Art Therapists取得许多专业发展和工作机会等资讯.
